ArkiDesign delivers small to medium-scale residential projects, including refurbishments, extensions, conversions, listed buildings and bespoke new builds. We offer architectural services across all RIBA Plan of Work stages (0–6), from initial strategy and design through to technical development, construction and project completion. Whether you require assistance with a single stage or a fully managed service from inception to handover, we tailor our involvement to suit your project's needs. With over 14 years of experience across England, we are based in Windsor and provide architectural services within a 40-mile radius.
Consultation
Do you need professional architectural advice without committing to a full design service? We offer fixed-fee consultancy to help you explore ideas, evaluate your property's potential, and understand the planning and construction process. This enables you to make informed decisions before investing further.
Feasibility
We assess the development potential of your property and explore design solutions that align with your objectives while maximising the opportunities and addressing the site constraints.
Planning
Once you are satisfied with the proposed design, we prepare and submit the Planning Application and manage the process through to determination.
Regulations
We can prepare and submit a Full Plans Building Control application, including all necessary drawings, specifications, and technical details required to demonstrate compliance with building regulations and safety standards.
Tender
We collaborate with all appointed consultants to ensure full design coordination and produce comprehensive tender documentation, enabling contractors to provide accurate quotations. This helps ensure the scope of work is clearly defined and reduces the risk of unforeseen costs.
Once a main contractor has been appointed, we can undertake value engineering exercises where required and prepare detailed construction information to support delivery on site.
Construction
During construction stage, we act as Contract Administrator on your behalf and provide support throughout the construction phase. Our services include monitoring site progress, responding to contractor queries, coordinating specialist subcontractor packages, and undertaking quality inspections to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the approved design, specifications, and the highest standards of workmanship.
